I have missed blogging this summer! Just wanted to share some pictures of my family with you. I have been very busy this summer. The LORD has been so very good to me. Ross and Anna both have friends! I mean like kind of, sort of, serious friends. This is Anna's first boyfriend and I really am impressed with him. Ross/Hilary and Anna/Matt have changed my family lifestyle this summer and I can honestly say for the best. We have been in our our own little shell for so long it was really a nice change for us. So, we have grown from four to six of us! I am still new to this change but am liking it more as each day passes. I miss my babies but I am also enjoying my adults. When I see my children happy, it makes me happy. When someone hurts them , it hurts me. I am learning to lift up my wings and let them try using theirs. Can you believe it??? I really am......

Thank YOU LORD for my family! God is so awesome! Lovin' HIM more everyday.

Twas the night before JESUS came

'Twas the night before Jesus came and all through the house not a creature was praying, not one in the house. Their Bibles were lain on the shelf without care in hopes that Jesus would not come there.

The children dressing to crawl into bed. Not once ever kneeling or bowing a head and Mom in her rocker with baby on her lap was watching the late show while I took a nap.

When out of the East there arose such a clatter, I sprang to my feet to see what was the matter. Away to the window I flew like a flash, tore open the shutters and threw up the sash!

When what to my wondering eyes should appear but angels proclaiming that Jesus was here with a light like the sun sending forth a bright ray I knew in a moment this must be THE DAY!

The light of HIS face made me cover my head it was JESUS! returning just like HE had said, and though I possessed worldly wisdom and wealth, I cried when I saw HIM in spite of myself.

In the Book of Life which HE held in HIS hand was written the name of every saved man. HE spoke not a word as HE searched for my name; when HE said "It's not here" my head hung in shame.

The people whose names had been written with love HE gathered to take to HIS FATHER above, with those who were ready HE rose without a sound while all the rest were left standing around.

I fell to my knees, but it was too late; I had waited too long and thus sealed my fate. I stood and I cried as they rose out of sight; Oh, if only I had been ready tonight.

In the words of this poem the meaning is clear; the coming of JESUS is drawing near. There's only one life and when comes the last call we'll find that the Bible was true after all!

This poem was my grandmother's and I wanted to share it with you. The BIBLE is so true and as Christian's our names are written and we can look forward to the day that HE will come for us. GOD is so good and one day we will see him face to face!

Nice Weather!

A few weeks ago we had some really bad weather and trees were uprooted everywhere. Since this time, due to rain, we've have very few days to clean up. This tree has been waiting for someone to take a saw to it. Ross and Tommy got busy as we were having a beautiful day. Ross has the week off and has been really good about getting some much needed work done. He does not like for me to take his picture so I kind of snapped these when he wasn't looking;) He has been a wonderful blessing in my life. I am thankful to GOD that HE blessed me with children. I hope all of you are having a blessed day in the LORD!
